<stepDesc>ESRI ArcCatalog 9.3 was used to perform geoprocessing in order to create this mosaic dataset. Within ArcToolbox, a new empty raster dataset was created within an empty file geodatabase. From there, the Mosaic tool was employed to combine all of the IMG tiles (excluding the XR-1A-109 tile which did not contain a world file) into the empty raster dataset. In terms of Mosaic parameters, the Mosaic Operator was set to "Last"; the Mosaic Colormap Mode was set to "First"; the Ignore Background Value was set to "0"; the NoData Value was set to "0"; the Convert 1 bit data to 8 bit box was not checked; the Mosaicking Tolerance was set to "0"; and the Color Matching Method was set to "None". Upon creation of the new mosaic dataset from that process, the raster was subsequently loaded into ArcSDE.</stepDesc>
