This dataset contains all known Oakland County centennial and sesquicentennial farms. Each feature, spatially represented as a polygon, was digitized using Oakland County's tax parcel layer. Location information came from the Centennial Farm Program of the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office and was verified using historic maps, aerial photography, and mailers to determine the direct relationship of the current owner to the original owner of the farm. Key attributes include FarmName, Owner, FarmStatus, PurchaseDate, and CertificationDate. |
